Geranyl Linalool is am aliphatic genaryl derivative. Geranyl Linalool unlike other genaryl derivatives showed poor inhibitory activity against carotenoid synthesis in Synechococcus. Geranyl Linalool was identified as a testosterone-dependent volatile compound in the preputial gland of rat Rattus norvegicus.
